iClone animated tutorials have been created to introduce you to the application, guide you through the creation process and provide you with a few tips along the way. Each tutorial focuses on a different portion of the authoring process and will help you towards 3D real-time filmmaking, animated storyboarding, and simulation training.

Using 3DXchange to Make a Quick Room

This is an example of a flat surface with single-sided normal. We can use 3dXchange, a simple 3D Box primitive from iClone and your favorite image editor to make a very quick room prop that behaves much like the stock 3D scene. This type of scene or prop makes camera angles easier to adjust and because the normal are flipped, lighting passes through the wall unobstructed.
